The love for Stockings and Leggings.

One thing i love the most about winters is Stockings and Leggings! They are just love! Don't you just adore teaming up your skirts/shorts with nice pair of stockings. 

You can wear these fishnet all year round. How awesome is that now! But they can obviously never go wrong in winters. Team them up with nice boots or Uggs and a nice skirt and you are ready to go! 

And who says a girl cannot wear too many colors at once!

This is what i wore to a friends birthday. The picture was not meant for the blog, but the love for stockings is soo much that i couldn't resist and wanted to share this particular one. And they are purple! I love teaming these purple stockings with an all black outfit. The reason behind this is simple, i want to focus only on the stockings! But you can also go for some contrast for drama and attention!

Slings- The Wonder Bags.

Are you ready to "sling on" with the pretty (read comfy) slings out there?

Sling bags are the perfect solution to carry your everyday essentials with style and comfort. Slings, as you all know it, are worn over one shoulder with a strap, which rests around the lower back. It is one bag which will never give you any back or shoulder pain. And the amazing thing about slings, you don't have to take off your bag every time you want to take something out of the bag. With one hand busy texting, just take out whatever you want from the other!

I would personally label sling, as the most elusive "wonder bag".

And, they come in so many shapes and sizes! There's not even a single person who will not find a sling according to his/her personality. There's one for everybody. And i mean it. 

Also, the traditional "Jholas" can be termed as slings. So there, even if you are wearing something ethnic, just carry those Jholas and you are ready to go. 

But slings come to the best use when out clubbing. No more awkward bag-under-the-arm-move. Or always looking out for your bag which is kept on your table and not enjoying dancing with your partner or friends. So just pick a delicate evening sling and you are ready to burn the dance floor.

Houndstooth All The Way.

The much awaited winters are finally here. And with the onset of winters comes in so many trends. Scarfs, mufflers, boots, overcoats. Phew. I'm a little over excited here.
So when it comes to those pretty Scarfs, you can never go wrong with a Houndstooth scarf. It is, as everyone says, the "in" thing right now. The Houndstooth scarf though first became popular in the 80's, has returned with a bang. Wherever you go you'll see pretty girls wearing these pretty scarfs. They come in variety of colors, ranging from black and white to pink, purple, red, aqua blue, et al.
If you are not that experimental with colors then stick to the basic black and white Houndstooth. Sport them with bold colors like red, electric blue, green etc. And if you are one of those daring ones then you can always go for the colored houndstooth, teaming them up with even brighter colors. 
Unlike normal scarfs, Houndstooth can be worn to an official meeting, a casual coffee date or even clubbing! One thing that you need while carrying a houndstooth is the right attitude and confidence. 
So put on your sexiest black dress, grab your houndstooth and your over-coat and get ready to partaaay!

Tassels and Tales.

As the Bohemian look returns into fashion, the tassels come right back with it. But this time it is here to stay. Tassels add distinctive savor to anything they dangle from, whether it is a dress, bag or a bracelet.

When it comes to tassel bags we have beautiful suede and leather bags, all embellished with the tassels. These bags are available in all sizes, from the tiny mobile bag to the big shopper handbags. The tassels vary from long fringes hanging prettily from the bag, to a few strands of leather thongs hanging from a braided strap or drawstring or even a zipper puller. The looks are as just as varied. You have chic bags, with a fringe hanging sleekly, and you also have a grungy bag with embroidery, beadwork and long fringes.
